AGREEMENT

 

 

This Agreement is made by and between Vermont Telephone Company, Inc. its successors or assigns, by consolidation, merger sale, or transfer, hereinafter called the "Company" and Local Union 2326 of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers affiliated with the American Federation of Labor ‑ Congress of Industrial Organizations, hereinafter called the Union.  The parties recognize that the Company is of vital importance to the communities that it serves.  To promote harmonious relationships, the parties hereto desire to establish a standard of conditions and procedures under which the employees shall work for the Company during the term of this Agreement, to establish rational systematic methods for the settling of disputes by peaceful

means, and to provide for rates of pay, hours of work, and other conditions of employment for such employees.

 

This Agreement shall be subject to amendment at any time by mutual consent of the parties hereto.  Such amendment shall be reduced to writing, state the effective date, and be executed and approved by the International Office of the Union in the same manner as is this Agreement.
